In 2017 Urban Brew approached Happy Media requesting us to take a gander at creating an internal video for their channel EDtv. EDtv was a educational channel that at the time, struggled to engage its younger viewers in their showcased adverts. After perusing most of EDtv's recent adverts we came to the realization that the only problem with their catalogue was that the adverts were engaging to an older demographic of viewers, whilst what they needed was a more fast paced and shorted advert that could retain their younger audiences(teens of between 8 - 18 year old's) attention.

We felt like by combining appealing scenes, attractive typography, punchy music one could engage a younger generation retaining the audiences attention. As EDtv did have a ton of talent in the 3d and Vfx field, but was only let down by the overall structure of its editing.

EDtv, during this time was about to release a new flagship series of documentaries called Iconoclasts, that interviewed a series of celebrities such as Lil Wayne, Lady Gaga, Will-i-am, Justin Bieber and Rhianna that month. As such we made our own version of what could be an advert for that series by repurposing music videos and other documentaries that the celebrities have been a part of. 

I created this using Adobe After effects, Adobe Audition as well as Premiere.
